wangfugin

Wangfugin is a famous pedestrian only shopping street not far from Tiananmen Square.

 

We were there quite early in the morning, before the majority of the shops had even opened (the magic time appeared to be 10 am).

There were New Year's decorations everywhere, and you could see that at night, banners of lights would span the width of the streets, making everything festive and bright.

 

 

We wandered past the bounds of Wangfugin, and found some other curious looking places. We weren't sure if this old building was a hospital, a school, or even still in use. But it was plenty big, whatever it was!
