Our flight from Beijing was an overnight one - we arrived in Singapore at 5 am local time. And we couldn't board the cruise ship till after lunch.
So we explored a bit, and figured out the metro system. And found a park bench. And pretended we were homeless while we watched motivated people take their morning run around the bay.
Eventually the shops started to open, and we were able to go find something to eat. Which was great - because we couldn't figure out where the bus stop was for the bus that would drop us off at the wharf. So we walked.
It wasn't terribly far... but far enough that I got sunburnt.
Oh the joys of fair skin.
Bea merely got a shade or two darker.
