the backlog

26 April 2015

I have 2 more days of classes left for this school year. I can hardly believe that it has gone by so fast, but here I am and time is gone.

I promise I am almost halfway done with the backlog of travel pictures from last year. Can you believe it was last year? Over a year! I got back home to Canada middle of last April, and now it's almost May again.  It has been a very, very, *very* busy year.

So! Here are a few photos from the past month - it is SpringTime here in Virginia - which means I really only do need a light jacket.  And there is glorious rain, and terrific thunderstorms, and flowers everywhere.

There have also been a million (or maybe closer to 15) senior shows for music and acting and art.

I finally feel like maybe I'm staying - I bought a bedframe and some furniture, and put up shelving and a coat rack. It was an amazing day.

I was also in an opera this semester. First time with solo lines in an opera. We did Puccini's Soeur Angelica, and I was a nun. A nun in charge of the other nuns. And I totally reprimanded them when they made faces in choir. Oh heck yes I did!

It's hard to be cute as a nun....

Closing night they got us flowers. And mine were a million colours of awesome. ^_^
