So this summer thing has come upon us with great speed and fortitude, and is making itself known in many ways. The main one being the level of heat.
Which is one of the loveliest parts of summer, don'cha know?
The microwave in my apartment is fixed. I have hot water. I have ice cream.
I have no air conditioning.
So I'm electing to take cold showers..... and going through a lot of ice cream. O_o
It's been 25-28 degrees in my apartment for the past week. And I actually find that for the most part, I don't mind.
I'm usually too cold, and have to wear slippers to keep my feet from aching after being too long on a cold floor. I use a double thick wool blanket summer and winter so I can sleep comfortably.
But this week?
Just the sheet.
And I'm comfortable.
